Tracegrow creates high value specialized products
from diverse industrial material streams
Tracegrow’s globally scalable technology converts industrial side streams and recycled batteries into valuable circular economy products with a low carbon footprint.
Tracegrow’s technology can be upscaled to manufacture different end products and raw materials for agricultural and material industry use.
Further adjustments of the various constituents can be made to the finished product as needed.
Tracegrow’s technology is patented, and manufacturing fullfills the ISO 9001 and14001 standards. Our technology has been awarded many prizes, including the acclaimed Circwaste prize of the Finnish Environmental Institute.
LESS THAN 4% OF BATTERIES
ARE RECYCLED IN AUSTRALIA
PROCESS DESCRIPTION
Tracegrows' first production plant in Finland has the capacity to process up to 5 million liters annually, with very low emissions. A super high yield of 90% is close to double the efficiency compared to traditional battery disposal methods with a yield of only 50%.
The low emission process has many benefits:
-
No wastewater, as the process has closed-loop water system
-
No flue gases - no industrial chimneys at the plant.
-
Minimal energy consumption since the process works at room temperature
Both production plant and products are certified according to the highest standards in the EU for the recycled feedstock. Fully scalable technology does not use high temperature or pressures allowing new plants to be build adjacent to existing feedstock sources.
ULTIMATELY, MINING FINITE MINERALS TO MAKE NEW BATTERIES WHILE WE BURY
THE EQUIVALENT IN LANDFILL IS INEFFICIENT AND DAMAGING TO OUR ENVIROMENT
THE SOLUTION

ReNutrients has a range of micronutrient fetilisers made from recycled alkaline batteries and other side streams, that removes toxic waste from landfill and provides Australian farmers with an organic, high yield liquid fertiliser to repurpose Zinc and Manganese used in alkaline batteries.

The revolutionary, patented technology purifies used alkaline batteries into a rich micronutrient fertiliser containing both Zinc, Manganese and Copper. Approved for organic input, trials have shown increased yields for growers by up to 26% when using Tracegrow’s organic liquid fertiliser, ZM-Grow, and outperformed traditional competing products in both yield volume and enrichment of crops.

We are on a mission to address the issue of battery waste in Australia whilst returning the valuable minerals used in the batteries to the ground.
